Dublin & Wicklow 3 Day Tour

Day 1
Arriving at Dublin airport early morning where the group is transferred to City Centre accommodation for check in. Our local guide will then meet the group for a guided walk of Dublin City Centre!

Walking tour
Starting off on O’Connell Street we walk past the General Post Office, the site of the famous Easter uprising of 1916 where it was used as a base for attacks against the British Army. Continuing down O’Connell Street we come to the famous River Liffey. Crossing the river we head to Trinity College, Ireland’s premier University, and the Book of Kells, a manuscript dating from around AD 800! We depart Trinity College and walk past Templebar (fantastic for nightlife) and Dublin Castle before ending at Christ Church Cathedral, a stunning cathedral dating back to the 12th Century.

In the evening head back to Templebar where there are clubs, bars, live music, nightclubs and restaurants to suit all tastes.

Day 2
A coach excursion to see the Garden of Ireland, Wicklow and Powerscourt Estate and Waterfall , the home to one of Europe’s greatest gardens and Irelands highest waterfall. We then take a drive along the Wicklow Way, offering some of Ireland’s finest views with mountain climbs and rolling hills. Our next stop is in Avoca, made famous in the TV series ‘Ballykissangel' and famous for craft shops. Return to Dublin late afternoon/early evening for before heading out again in this vibrant City. Evening options include an Irish Dancing performance, Musical Pub Crawl, Irish Theatre or simply another night in one of the many fantastic bars and restaurants on offer

Day 3
After a leisurely breakfast, some free time for shopping and sightseeing, before ending the tour with a visit to the famous Guinness Storehouse. The building is shaped like a pint glass, and there is a self guided tour which ends in the Sky Bar (Dublin’s highest bar) where you have a pint of the famous ‘black stuff’, the best Guinness you will ever taste. After the tour you will be transferred to Dublin airport for your departure flight.
